Our
Secret Power
I
love the whole idea of the above caption.
The last line captures a room full of wisdom. “We have the power to imagine better.”
Spend
some time on that one. Actually, spend
some time in your own imagination. What
all can you imagine?
Down
through history, mankind has continually used his/her imagination and look at
our world. Consider, technology,
medicine, space exploration, education, psychology, and on and on.
Without imagination, what are we? Really? What are we?
A
man I know named Stan imagined a life better than the poor upbringings he
experienced. He set his sights. He got a degree, then law school, then a
judge-ship. He married a beauty named
Barb, had two kids, and life has been pretty sweet for them. Simply because he imagined.
Where
would we be without the imagination of Gates, Jobs, Einstein, Edison, the
Wright brothers, Thomas Jefferson, JK Rowling, Robert Ludlum, Steinbeck and a
thousand other imaginative individuals?
What
could your imagination bring us?
