Resilient So Far

Resilient So Far

Think for a moment of all the ‘stuff’ you’ve endured thus far in your years of living.

Heartache
Financial woes
Marital issues
Child-raising concerns
Job strife
Conflict with others
Weight control
Medical concerns
Loss and death of those close
Disappointment in leadership on whatever level
Career challenges

And yet, you are alive, breathing.  You are surviving.

You have a resiliency that perhaps you had thought you lost, or never had.

And you’re here.

No matter where your story has taken you, you have survived thus far.

Doesn’t that encourage you?  Doesn’t that do something for your inner sense of peace of mind.  Do you find the ability to admit to self, “I am a survivor”?

I hope so.

All this ‘stuff’ in our past has happened and we’ve gotten through all of it, or we’re still struggling with some of it, yet we are alive.

Can you say, “So far, I am resilient”?

Yes.  Help yourself.

You are … RESILIENT!

This is my
morning reflection.

Faith

-->
Faith

How does faith play into your personal agenda?  When I write “faith”, I’m speaking of your own personal faith in yourself.

To phrase it another way, what kind of confidence do you have in you?  Are you dedicated to whatever your dreams, goals, integrity dictates?  Are you loyal to your own belief system?

Faith in one’s self is one of the most essential elements in
life.  Henry Ford once said, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.”

Faith
Belief
Self-esteem

They are all part and parcel of the same philosophy on life.

This is my
morning reflection.

Don't Stop at Your Destination

Don’t Stop at Your Destination

Are you on a journey or are you seeking a destination?  If we reach our destination, we stop traveling.  If we reach a goal, sometimes, that is the end.  We have nothing else for which to look.

It’s an old adage … Goals are not a destination.  They are markers along the journey.

I’m remembering that today.  My destination, only for today, is to write six blogs and produce one podcast.  And in a few days, those will go stale and I’ll need to produce more stuff.

And the need for more stuff is what drives me to my writing space.

I’ll pause long enough to reflect, evaluate, and enjoy the production, and then shift my sights to the future.

I wonder what else is out there waiting my discovery?

This is my
morning reflection.
