The Admired Ones Aren't Better

The Admired Ones Aren’t Better

So, who do you admire?  And for every person you just named, do you consider them better than you?

I hope not.  They’re not better.  They were just willing to do something bold … something that had never been done before, perhaps.

They tried and succeeded, or they are on their way to success.

Are you willing to try?  That is a great question.  People who try are people who are willing to fail, and also know that with some tweaking they may become a huge success.

Perhaps you can succeed too.  It’s worth a try.

Sure you’re afraid.

Do it anyway.

You’ll never know unless you do.

This is my morning reflection.

(This post is inspired by Seth Godin and a quote in his book, What to Do when It’s Your turn, on page 21)
